Camco RV Flexible Swivel Stick is touted as one of the best and most powerful RV tank cleaning tools. But is it really that efficient and easy to use? Find out in our honest, concise review, where we talk about how the Camco RV Stick preforms, works, and whether it’s the right fit for you and your RV.

About the Product

Camco RV Flexible Swivel Stick is a popular rotary cleaning wand for RV holding tanks that is supposed to help keep your sensors clean and operating at their best. A the name suggests, it’s a fully flexible tool that is easy to maneuver, making it ideal for RVs with tanks either installed at an offset, or away from the toilet. With a 55.5 inch flexible body, a comfortable handle, an easy-connect attachment for standard hoses, and a shut-off valve that allows you to control the pressure of water, the wand tool is super-easy to use, even if you’re a complete beginner. Importantly, all moving parts of the Camco RV Flexible Swivel Stick are constructed of brass, so they’re rust- and corrosion-resistant, guaranteed to last a long time.

How it Works

Alright, so the flexible tank wand seems durable and easy to use; but how does it actually work? It’s all pretty simple – after you empty your holding tank, you use the Camco RV cleaning stick to wash the entire container, including the sides that usually hold the most stubborn messes. It’s important to use the wand as soon as possible after draining the tank though, because if you wait a day or two, the waste will dry and stick to the holding tank, making it extremely hard to remove. As for the specifics of using the swivel stick, you should simply cnnect your garden hose to the female end of the stick and turn on the water with the shut-off valve in the “off” position (the manufacturer does note that the pressure must be less than 100 psi). Then, you open the sliding valve on your toilet – keeping it open the entire time – and stick the brass end of the cleaning tool through the toilet bowl and into the tank. Next, you turn the shut-off valve on the “on” position and start cleaning the holding container. Because the wand is powerful and flexible, it’s easy to maneuver it and reach all sides of the tank.
